"Poai" is a nickname for Port Island that is popular among Kobe citizens, and it is a Hawaiian word that means "circle" or "to go around." It embodies the connection between students who meet at this school and aim for the future together, and the wish to build a circle of friendship around the world.
The clear blue landscape of the sky and sea that stretches across the view from the school on a sunny day is expressed in a transparent blue, superimposed on the limitless possibilities of the students with a bright future.
