US Tariff Information

1st Oct 2025

We have started to receive tariff invoices from customs. Once payments are made, parcels should proceed to US without further complications.

30th Sept 2025 Update

All parcels despatched are awaiting for clearance at customs within Australia. We are currently waiting on tariff invoices to be paid before delivery to US. There may be slight delay in transit at customs. Thank you for your patience!

25th Sept 2025 Update

Many Australian retailers, including us, are currently navigating an issue with US customs duty payments. This is the first time we’ve encountered this process, bear with us as we try to figure this out. There may be a slight delay, but rest assured we will cover all duties before dispatch, ensuring your order arrives in the US without complications.

23rd Sept 2025 Update

Soe & Soe has resumed shipping to the United States as of 23rd September 2025.

De Minimis Threshold Removal & Its Impact

As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. suspended the de minimis exemption (aka duty‑free low‑value import threshold) for all countries. Previously, small shipments valued at US $800 or less could enter the U.S. without customs duties or formal import entry. That is no longer the case. Effectively, every shipment, regardless of value, must now be declared and subject to import duties, tariffs, and applicable fees.

We have included all duties and tariffs at checkout.

Soe & Soe will remit required duties to US customs before delivery, so you will not be charged any extra fees when you order arrives.

We have decided to absorb some additional fees charged to us through this process.

Thank you for supporting our small business!
