Why Ink Samples?
Ink samples are a fantastic and economical way to try new ink colours without committing to a full bottle, whether you are newbie to the fountain pen and calligraphy world or a seasoned veteran with a shelf full of inks.
Generally, when purchasing ink samples 2ml will be enough to refill your fountain pen several times to get a good feel if you like an ink or not. Sometimes inks will behave differently in different pens and you may enjoy an ink in one pen and not a different one, even if they are the same nib sizes.
Both pens and inks can have wet or dry flow which can affect your writing experience and preferences. Part of the fun is exploring what works best for you!
We offer 4ml samples for calligraphy ink as they are a bit thicker and mostly not suitable for filling pens the extra amount can go further for whatever you plan to use them for.
Just in Case
At Soe & Soe, we are a small family business of two toddler mums Yue & Myat dedicated to delivering the best service to our beloved fountain pen and stationery community. Whilst we do all we can to ensure a smooth delivery, sometimes ink accidents can still happen due to factors such as temperature and weather so sample vials are carefully vacuum-sealed to avoid leakages into the rest of your parcel.

For More Inky Fun
We have started rolling out our new 5ml mini glass bottle samples for those who wish to have a more than the usual 2ml samples.
These mini bottles come with an inbuilt eyedropper for ease of quick ink swatching. No need to bring out a syringe or separate dropper for taking small amounts out for mixing custom colours anymore for art!
The opening is a similar size to the 2ml sample vials but allowing easier access of ink compared to the long vials if you are swatching or writing with dip pens as you don't need to dip as far in.
