Yen Ran is an indigo blue with colour shifting golden shimmer. Lennon Tool Bar shimmer inks have minimal shimmer transfer once dried unlike many other shimmer inks.
Under the stars and moon, stirring the dye vat repeatedly through soaking and oxidising processes, a deep indigo is achieved, tranquil and beautiful as the sky above.
The Poetry of Light collection is called Zhuo Ying in in Chinese, meaning the illusion seen when fabric is washed in water. The entire series depicts the scenes witnessed by a dedicated fabric dyer who works late into the night.
