Paper Tasting Kit - Egg Shell Vol.3

Paper Tasting sets from Yamamoto Paper are a great way test out unique Japanese papers to find your ideal pen friendly paper. Each paper provides different tactile experience that may work best with different types of pens.

The set includes three different types of paper pads in three different sizes, so you can try them out just like tasting wine and find the paper you like best.

B7: Slight: produced at the Nagaoka Mill Machine #3, of Hokuetsu Corporation, Slight paper was developed with expressiveness of colour in mind and is now used in some adult colouring-in books. Suitable for fountain pens, ball point and gel pens as well as pencils.

A6: Monte Lukia: produced by Nippon Paper Ishinomaki Mill that was directly hit by the tsunami that followed the Great East Japan Earthquake. This paper is used using bulking technology to produce well-textured coated paper with low weight yet high thickness. Suitable for dip pens, fountain, ball-point and gel pens. 

B6: Soliste: made at the Kagoshima prefecture Sendai Mill Machine #4 of Chuetsu Pulp & Paper, this is a bulky book paper that does not fade. Suitable for dip, fountain, ball point and gel pens as well as pencils.
