Hanabira Mochi is a traditional Japanese sweet enjoyed at the first tea ceremony of the New Year. The delicately shimmering translucent body of the pen features pale pink and white representing the red bean paste peeking though the flower petal shaped rice cake and the pale yellow represents the stick of candied burdock root. The finial features the kanji for sweets and the cap ring reads "♡ ♡ Poesie ♡ ♡".
This model is a pocket-sized pen original design by Tokyo-based stationery store Poesie Bungu. Features an 14k gold nib engraved with a hanami mochi with rose gold trims. Cartridge included. Converter sold separately.
