Fountain Pen Cleaner

Keep your fountain pens flowing smoothly with this Van Dieman's fountain pen cleaner!

To Use:

1. Empty pen of ink.
2. Shake the bottle of Fountain Pen Ink Flush to ensure the ingredients are well mixed. Pour a small amount of the solution into a clean container. You won't need much - just enough to submerge the nib of your pen.
3. Place the nib of your pen into the cleaning solution. Let it soak for about 10-15 minutes. This will help to dissolve any dried ink that's clogging the nib or feed.
4. After soaking, flush the pen with the cleaning solution. If your pen uses a cartridge or converter, fill and empty it with the cleaning solution several times. If your pen is a piston filler or vacuum filler, twist or push the filling mechanism to draw the cleaning solution in and out of the pen. Repeat this process until the solution coming out of the pen is clear.
5. Once the pen is clean, rinse it thoroughly with distilled water. This will remove any residual cleaning solution. Again, fill and empty the pen with water repeatedly until the water coming out of the pen is clear.
6. Pat the nib dry with a soft cloth. Leave the pen disassembled and allow it to air dry completely before reassembling and refilling with ink.
