From Colorverse Korea Special Ink series, Hwaseong Fortress is a warm grey ink.
Hwaseong Fortress, located in Gyeonggi-Do, was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage in 1997 because the architecture represented of the palace and military constructions of the Jo-Seon Dynasty.
The dark grey colour was inspired by the beautiful appearance of the surrounding landscape, the piled-stone and brick fortress and roofs that can be seen from the main gate of Hwaseong. This subtle warmth in the grey is reminiscent of the brick colour of the stone walls and tiled rooves, delicately capturing the beauty of Hwaseong.
