Akiurara has a graduated pink to warm yellow body with cyan blue and purple accent grip section and deep purple icicle end. Gold leaf is spun into the shaft to create a glittering effect in the sunlight like warm autumn leaves.
Handmade by Mai Sakurai, the Aurora glass pen collection captures the colourful nature the four seasons of Japan in mind. Harunodoka representing Spring, Aoarashi for Summer, Akiurara for Autumn and Itehara for Winter. Each name is chosen for the seasonal terms used in Japanese poetry (haikai, renga and haiku) and created to envision travelling through the nature rich scenery in Japan.
